Passion for Kaftans

Are you summer ready? I know I am! As we approach the month of June and start fantasizing about our new summer wardrobe, one thing that’s for sure is that no summer wardrobe is complete without a fancy kaftan.

This Iliana kaftan that I am wearing, designed by Christine & Joe is made out of batik fabric resembling the colour of the sand dunes, with delicate lace and chains details, ready to be warn at all times of day. Dress it up with a pair of killer heels and you are sure to make heads turn.

Passion for 17th Athens Xclusive Designers Week

17th Athens Xclusive Designers Week took place in Athens from 28th to 30th of March 2015, where 31 Greek designers and international brands presented their unique collections and designs.

 A highlight was the 12 new talents who showcased their creations for the next winter presenting their own trends: Fotini Baka, Leon, Aris Antoniou, Maison Anna Dorothea, Dimitrios Ordoulidis, Tryfonas Modestou, MK by Marios, Georgia Margariti, Dimale, Chris & Tonia, Euphrosyne Vlassi and Aziina. The young artists showed their promising collections impressing the audience and the jury of the institution of New Designers Awards, claiming three awards: Best New Designer, Best Trendsetter and Best Catwalk. The awards ceremony of New Designers Awards was presented by two representatives of the new generation of presenters and fashion icons, Alex Kavdas and Mary Retsina.

Passion for Simply Fes

How have you been my dear fashionistas? I know that my silence is long overdue here but believe me I have been busy launching new projects, travelling and planning for the future. Fashion is still one of my greatest passions, after travel of course but since there are only 24 hours in the day, I can only do so much, although I try. This look was shot for a Hotel Blogger Experience project back in December. In case you missed the story you can read it here.

One of my favourite looks was this one and particularly the top that I am wearing which is by Simply Fes. My dear friend and colleague Vicky of Style-Rules decided to surprise me by getting me this top as a New Year’s present. I just love it. Thank you Vicky!
