Kouzoulo Restaurant opening

Friday night my friends and I attended a Cretan Restaurant opening in Kifissia. We love to eat and we love to eat out, but especially we love to support our friends in their new business ventures. The name of the restaurant is Kouzoulo and translated from Cretan it means “crazy”. Not your typical name for a restaurant, but you know what they say, Cretans are known for their individuality. The food was delicious, a great selection of dishes, I definitely recommend the liver dish cooked with vinegar and rosemary and the gamopilafo which is a traditional wedding pilaf where the rice is cooked in stock made from quality meat and bones. The Cretans are very fond of drinking raki, therefore we could not break the tradition and followed the rituals.
