Happy Tuesday everyone! Greetings from the sky, just joking, no flying for the time being but hopefully not for long. In this post I would like to share a few photos from the Carnival party which my friends and I organised two weekends ago. A bit of history on the tradition of what the Carnival is. The Carnival season in Greece is known as the Apokries and it last sfor a period of three weeks just before Lent. During this time the Greeks escape from the daily routines and dress up, celebrate and praise life. The history behind my trolley dolly suit, is that I went through all the stages of interviewing and applied for an actual trolley dolly job with the Emirates. It came about by chance and I guess not so by chance I got rejected. There goes the opportunity to travel the world but as my friends say, I am meant to fly with Emirates not for Emirates. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and at the end of the day thanks to this exciting opportunity I selected a perfect costume for the Carnival. P.S. the green bag is the trendy new collection produced by the airline, it was a great addition to the costume. Don’t you think so? Until next time. xoxo ES
