Passion for Arkadi Monastery, Crete

I appreciate great architecture, and my…was this monastery something else! The Arkadi Monastery is found in Rethymno, Crete and it is one of the Eastern Orthodox Monasteries underlining the catholicity and universality of the Church. It has unbelievable natural beauty, once you find yourself inside you feel total serenity, like you blend in with the environment. This monastery is very rich in history and each year it receives many visitors and pilgrims from around the world. Here you will find your own unique experience, at least I did.
