Traditionally, Geisha are know to be
Japanese female entertainers who act as hostesses and whose skills include
performing various Japanese Arts. If you think I have gone bonkers, my answer
will be no but if we speak fashion then you know that this season’s trend is
about Japanese inspired. I have gone for a more trendy approach while keeping
some key elements of a true Geisha, her kimono, the red lips and hair pulled
back in a bun.
Dries van Noten has created a few as good as gold kimono pieces and you know that yours trully loves fashion but has not gone crazy to invest in such a piece. Instead by searching through my wardrobe I found this silk piece which was once brought to me from China. Remember ladies, it's all about being creative! Finally if you want Oriental then you must also focus on the footwear, thus thong platforms are a must. If you are a daring type then a pair of socks will also do. What do you think of this trend darlings? Looking forward to reading your comments. Until next time. xoxo ES
